Having your refrigerator operate louder than expected can be concerning and we want to help you. On page 19 of your model's Use and Care manual you'll find the normal operating sounds of this unit and their causes.

The product arrived and was installed at a vacation home. It is very noisy and if somebody is sleeping in the contiguous room to the refrigerator they wake up when the refrigerator turns on.
First day ice maker made small ice cubes second day, it filled the bin full of water and froze the bin. Due to location of the premises, there is no service so our replacement ice maker was sent to me for me to install but was shipped late and arrived after I left.
I guess it's a work in process!

They sure don't make refrigerators like they used to. This unit is strictly for beer & soda in our garage. So, we decided to go cheap. This is definitely cheap. It has wire shelves hard to level, etc. The salesman stated that it's a waste of money to get one that's made for outside. I'm not so sure as much as this one is struggling to keep up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well, but not what it seems

Had for more than a year now and still working well. I will say that I bought this fridge as opposed to other cheaper models because it was purportedly made in U.S. Upon receiving the fridge, there are Chinese markings and a Chinese city name stamped on the compressor on the back and on the underside of the unit. Nowhere is it stated where made, but clearly a good portion if not all of it was manufactured in China. Wish I had just bought the openly Chinese one from a competing brand and saved $150--they're probably both made in the same Chinese factory.
