Great For Condos/Apts

I live in a condominium and was replacing the refrigerator that was here when I bought it. So my cabinets were already built and I had to get a refrigerator that fit in the existing space. Because of that I didn't have a whole lot of options, but I am definitely satisfied with this purchase. For me this unit was an upgrade because I did not have an ice maker previously. The LED lights are bright, the sliding drawer is a nice feature. So, for the money, this was just what I needed. Sleek and clean look. I actually had three shelves on my last refrigerator whereas this one only has two. But they are wider or deeper. So you can fit large gallon size bottles. I one section of the shelf for my daughters juice and milk so she can open the fridge and access them really easily. My only issue with it is that the top shelf inside the refrigerator is at an odd level. At the highest rung, it's not tall enough to put most drink containers. And if you adjust it down a rung to make room for the drinks, you lose almost all of your second shelf. There are only 2 shelves so that means larger drink containers HAVE to go on the door. But I've gotten used to it!

Alot of design flaws

Thanks for your review! Sorry to hear that you're not totally pleased with your unit's interior design. The shelving can be adjust and placed higher or lower depending on what you're storing. Try to adjust where the shelving is in the fresh food section to see if this can help to accommodate these large bottles.

Hi - We hate to hear about your disappointment with the icemaker on your new refrigerator and truly apologize for the difficulty you are having. Your icemaker is designed to make 7 cubes approximately every 70-80 minutes. Ice production is dependent on freezer temperatures, door openings, and food load. The more food in the freezer, the colder the temperatures will be and the more efficiently the icemaker will perform, since the frozen packages act as insulators to keep the cold air in. We recommend the freezer be kept three-fourths full for optimal operation. If necessary, use plastic jugs filled two-thirds with water to increase the freezer load. We do see you have a service appointment scheduled with GE service. We're certain our service team can remedy the issue you're having. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
