Nice basic refrigerator for the price bd it fits perfect in my apartment space. I would give it 5 stars but it lacks shelving. I would have to wait a few months to order a shelf which is on back order but decided to order another bid instead....hopefully that will help.

This GE refrigerator is exactly what we needed for the kitchen space we have! It's the perfect size and for the FIRST time we have an ICE MAKER, no more filling trays!

Very good performance, but wish that the temperature range, given a specific temperature setting was narrower. For example, there’s a 10 degree variation, as measured by a thermometer. Still, an improved design compared with older GE models. Some improvements include ice maker option, tool-less temp control, and greater storage capacity for the same external dimensions as older models. This refrigerator seems well-insulated and maintains stable, cold temperatures.

Seemingly well constructed. Improved design over older models. Optional ice maker, increased storage capacity over older models with identical external dimensions. Improved storage in door shelves. Maintains cold temperatures. Could be, yet, improved by having a narrower range of temperatures. For example, a thermometer shows a ten degree variation from 31 to 41 degrees, whereas a range from 35 to 39 would be better, as far as food storage and longevity are concerned.
