Runs LOUD

I got this refrigerator because of the size. I had to have one to fit in a small space due to height. This is the only one I could find after hours of comparing. It is cute but is so loud I can hardly stand it. It makes many different sounds and runs a lot. I had to turn it lower than the recommended setting to keep things cold. No info given when installed I did not know it was going to run for 6 hours straight! Worst feature is the noise I can handle the other things although I do not like the wire racks and the inverted handles. Hope it hold up since it runs so much! I did read the reviews about the noise but gave in because if the size and height of my cabinets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect second refrigerator

After a small hiccup; the fan was not plugged in, so the appliance was not cooling properly, everything is working as it should. GE was quick to send a technician who found the easy fix. The refrigerator is a good size and works well for my needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hotpoint new design need redesign

I used to own a Hotpoint fridge for more than 20 years. I prefer the design of the old fridge in general, but performance wise (ex. cooling, quietness), the new fridge is better. I do not like the wide door shelves of the new Hotpoint; they make the door heavier. Also, I can't seem to pull out completely the right side crisper. It keeps on hitting the inside corner of the door. There is a bump/ledge on the lower inner side of the door at the level of the crisper. When pulling out the crisper, it hits this bump and prevents it from being pulled out completely. Crisper can be pulled out completely if you open the door very wide, but I have a tight space and can't do that unfortunately. Also wished the door shelves do not have space openings at the bottom. Smaller packages tend to slip out of that space. I like the two level design of the freezer. However, the vent openings at the back of the freezer are I think too low and too close the freezer floor. I am afraid some loose small peas or food debris might clog these vents. The grab space of the door (for models like mine without handle) is too narrow and shallow. My fingers slip out of the space when opening the door. Overall, I am happy with Hotpoint. I would recommend it everyone.

Noisy, very noisy!

I bought this a month ago. It keeps everything cold but it is very very noisy. I would not buy this refrigerator!
