Great Unit

This unit is a back-up for the main refrigerator/freezer, which recently required repairs.....and it also functions as an overflow for any items which we cannot cram into the main unit...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Noisy

Negative, it is noisy with vibration . Positive, keeps it temp & shelves/ door storage is good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there - We're glad that your refrigerator is working well for you and that you like the capacity of this model! This is wonderful to hear. We do apologize, though, that it is noisily vibrating. This would be annoying and we can understand your discouragement.
You may need to adjust the front leveling legs of the refrigerator to reduce the vibration. They should be set so the front of the refrigerator is raised just enough that the doors close easily when opened about halfway. To adjust, turn the leveling legs clockwise to raise the refrigerator, and counterclockwise to lower it.
We also encourage you to review page 20 of the owner's manual for a list of normal operating sounds that this refrigerator makes - just to rule out any potential issues: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000478-2.pdf.

Good basic refrigerator

It is a good refrigerator. I purchased this as a garage refrigerator while a house was being remodeled. The only downside is that it can be noisy and sound like my parents refrigerator from years back.
I would recommend this to a friend!
