We have had it for about a month. My wife loves it; and that is the most important feature. I paid for it and do not want to be blamed for making a poor purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this two weeks ago and it is very nice fridge. Very specious from inside. Works really really well. Only 1 thing that I would have loved more is there are only 2 shelves on the door. Usually there are 3 or more. And with just a little bit of redesigning the bottom portion and it could fit the third shelf as well. But anyways, it is a good fridge overall.

Great extra storage, more storage for the footprin

We bought the refrigerator as an extra for needed extra storage space, both refrigerator and freezer. It had more storage space in a smaller footprint and has worked very well in our garage. Bought an icemaker but have not installed yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This refrigerator fit in the space which was limited by the cabinets above it and was larger size than my previous one. The features include recessed door handles are good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Basic Refrigerator

I bought it since I needed a smaller refrigerator for the basement. The things I don't like: 1. The fan is very noisy. Not a too much of a problem for me since it is in the basement. 2. there is no separate controls for the freezer and frig. The frig has a 5 to 6 degree swing in temperature. Better thermostatic controls are needed. 3. It uses the butane coolant - the frig is mostly unserviceable because of this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello- Thank you for your purchase, we are happy to help address your concerns. Newer refrigerators sound different from older refrigerators. Modern refrigerators have more features and use newer technology. You can view normal sounds in the link below:
Your control will control both the fresh food and the freezer. Clockwise is colder and counter Clockwise is warmer.
General temperature settings for models with a Snowflake or "Cold - Colder - Coldest" on the control:
At the coldest setting the temperature is approximately 34 degrees in FF and -5 degrees in FZ. At the middle (Colder) setting the temperature is approximately 37 degrees in the FF and 0 degrees in the FZ. At the warmest (Cold) setting the temperature is approximately 40 degrees in the FF and 5 degrees in the FZ.
GE Appliances was the first home appliance manufacturer to offer consumers a refrigerator using environmentally friendly refrigerant known as R-600a.
In 2019, we began transitioning refrigerators to using R-600a refrigerant, which has very low global warming impacts as compared to the legacy HFC refrigerant. R-600a is an environmentally-friendly refrigerant that has been approved by the EPA. It offers reduced impact on the environment, and it has been widely used in Europe and Asia for many years. R-600a is non-toxic refrigerant (also known as isobutane) that is produced naturally. It has much lower global warming impacts than R-134a, which contains HFCs.
Our technicians have been trained in safe service procedures for R-600a refrigeration products since 2011. During some repairs, R-600a can be safely released outside the home. R-600a has an improved disposal method because it can be vented to the outside, unlike R-134a which must be reclaimed through a vacuum pump (and cannot, under federal law, be released to the outside during service or during refrigerator disposal).
Gas is removed from the same place in the refrigerator. There is no need to use specialized equipment to pull it out, so it’s easier to service.
Other benefits include: ~Gas and components in the refrigerator cost less. ~More energy efficient than R-134a. ~No change in performance.
We hope this information is helpful!
We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to share this with our engineering and design teams. Thank you! Joyce@Hotpoint
