Only fridge that fit in the small constraints of an old kitchen. Makes all kinds of noises - nothing loud or of concern. More like the sound of a hamster running on a wheel. It's hardly ever completely silent. The shelf in the freezer is good but you can't keep 1/5 liquor bottles upright without removing it. The recessed handles seemed like a good idea at first, but that's where I keep my hand-towels. No biggie, can't expect the world to change for my quirks.

Perfect size for extra refridgerator in garage

This was bought as extra space for in the garage. The delivery person said to run empty for 4-6 hours prior to putting items in and now it is keeping everything perfectly cold. This would work well as a smaller apartment refrigerator also.

I hope this fridge lasts as long as last Hotpoint. (30 plus yrs.) The fridge seems perfect for our second to store extra things in garage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased this 6 months ago and I haven’t had any problem. Only downside is that it should have another drawer in the middle of the refrigerator.

Exactly what you need

This is my 3rd Hotpoint appliance.
My last refrigerator lasted 15 years and that is unheard of nowadays.
The refrigerator is basic with plenty of space and upon receiving today, is cooling quickly.
No frills, even though the doors do have ample storage. It’s exactly what you need.
