Very basic small model. There is not a separate temp setting for the freezer and fresh food area. I keep a thermometer in both the freezer and fresh food compartment and have not found a temperature setting that keeps the fresh food section as well as the freezer section in the proper temp range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my extra food and beer fridge in my basement. Works great, holds set temperature well and runs quiet. I have it set low on the thermostat as the recommend setting had the fridge part running a bit too cold since I am targeting beer storage temp.

A solid refrigerator for the price

I bought this 4 months ago as a second refrigerator. I looking for a specific size, and I wanted an energy efficient model. This model had the most cubic feet of interior space within the dimensions of my space requirements. It was Energy Star rated as a super-efficient model. I've been very happy with the purchase. It runs very quiet, and was made in the U.S.A.! I do wish it had a light in the freezer (only the fridge is lit), and I do wish it had separate temperature controls (there is only a single dial to control temperature from 'warmer' to 'colder'). I'm sure I could have gotten those features in a bigger fridge, but for the price and with my space requirements, you can't beat it. Highly recommended!

Runs Quietly

Very pleased with this refrigerator. It runs quietly and sounds like a refrigerator should sound as compared to the very loud buzzing noise in similar models by other manufacturers. This refrigerator was built in a U.S. factory as compared to the noisy ones made in Mexico. I originally purchased a refrigerator from a competitor but was very disappointed by the very loud buzzing sound it made. Very glad that I switched to the GE model.

Simple, Slim, Functional

Versatile with reversible doors, plenty of space in door shelves, plenty of adjustability and decent hight for easy access of refrigerated goods. The temperatures are spot on and it is a quiet running machine.

this is made from a very soft metal...I have several dents in my BRAND NEW refrigerator ..from simply bumping it with an elbow or dropping a pan that bounced off the rounded corner of the door.
