Great appliance

We are happy with this refrigerator. It replaced one that was well over 20 years old. Have recently noticed a reduction in our electric bill so that is a big plus! We realize we should have ordered one with glass shelves & could use a bit larger freezer. Didn't realize it did not come with egg tray or ice cube tray.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Defective from the Beginning

I ordered this refrigerator and it showed up with a broken starter for the compressor, so it was unusable. It was a defective product. This fridge had high reviews and works (for now) after the repairs, but I won't be buying a GE appliance again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although it is designed to run up to 90% of the time, it only uses approximately 453 KWH per year and has an energy rating of only $43 per year:

Bought this for an older home and LOVE the fact it's large enough for gallon milk containers and still fits within the limited width we have available!
