Small interior space for a 15.5; not spacious as the older style.
Door shelves are wide but with opening - small items fall through the shelves.

Perfect Replacement for My Older Model!

Delighted with my new GE Refrigerator! Great value for the money! This recently purchased 15.5 cu.ft. model replaces an older, 20.6 cu.ft. one bought 18-years ago, and is more than adequate for my needs. Plugged it in and it cooled down to 0-Degrees (freezer) and 40-Degrees (refrigerator) more efficiently than I had expected. Top freezer section is surprisingly spacious and accommodates everything (yes, everything) that my larger, previous model did. The lower refrigerator section is ample for fresh / prepared food storage. An additional feature includes two separate humidity-controlled bins to keep fruits and veggies fresh and crisp: (Use higher setting for fruit bin and lower for veggie bin.) Bottom storage section on inside of door will fit items as large as a gallon jug of milk, without having to squeeze to fit. Upper storage section on inside of door is great for condiments, vitamin supplements, and large containers of yogurt, cottage cheese. etc. Plus the usual separate storage compartment for butter, etc. Overall width and height are a good fit, given my kitchen floor plan and overhead cabinets. Delivery was totally without stress! Even with door handles, this refrigerator slid through the kitchen doorway without scraping anything. In short, I was in Dire Need of a new refrigerator when I found this one. I'm a Very Happy Camper, Indeed!
