Very basic small model. There is not a separate temp setting for the freezer and fresh food area. I keep a thermometer in both the freezer and fresh food compartment and have not found a temperature setting that keeps the fresh food section as well as the freezer section in the proper temp range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
