Refrigerator falls short.

Refrigerator is very noisy, with all the insulation that is needed these days to make models energy efficient, you would think that is would help reduce the noise.
This refrigerator only has ONE SMALL light bulb, (located on the right side of the bulb housing fixture). Why didn't they put in another one on the left side ? One bulb is NOT enough. This height refrigerator could have been made a little wider, and possibly another 2 inches longer in depth.

First Time since 1995 I've had new appliances. First time in more than 20 years there is a light in the refrigerator. The refrigerator fit perfect in the slot where the old appliance was. I was told I wouldn't be able to get a refrigerator to fit in that slot any more since the building was built in 1985. But GE made one and it fits perfect !

Fridge & Freezer Temps Controlled by ONE Dial

It makes *zero sense* that the fridge temperature and freezer temperature would be controlled by just one dial. The recommended setting is 3, which literally freezes everything in the freezer solid. But when I turn it down, the fridge is barely cold. It makes logical sense that the freezer temp and fridge temp would be controlled by separate dials - I’ve never seen another fridge that just had one dial to control both like this. It makes no sense.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Small outside, large inside

We have an OLD house with original, low hanging cabinets. We had very few options for refrigerators however we’re thankful that the “new version” of our very old fridge was available. It’s not fancy and we don’t need it to be. It fits our family of four’s groceries with lots of drawer, door, and shelf space. This fridge is more roomy than you would think. It cooled fast and isn’t too noisy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice looking and does what it's supposed to do but the cheese drawer and brackets in the doors broke after very little and normal use
