I bought this fridge to replace my old Amana fridge that I had for 24 years. It was the only one that retrofit into the space. I was hoping to upgrade but I seem to have downgraded. It doesn’t have a light in the freezer, and there is no separate temperature setting for the freezer. What a bummer. It’s been running for 8 hours and my bread rolls that I had frozen are soft. I hope I didn’t buy a lemon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When it comes to your bread not being completely frozen after 8 hours, we do recommend allowing up to 24 hours after installation for your refrigerator and freezer to reach operating temperatures. Not as well made as 25 year old GE refrigerator that I loved and hated to part with.. I am 86, wonder if it will last as long as I might.

Freezer doesn't get very cold

There's only one control for both freezer and fridge. I turn the dial to the 3 setting, which is the recommended setting, the freezer only goes to 8 to 10 degrees cold, which is not cold enough for a freezer. If I move the dial to the 4 or 5 setting, the freezer gets to 2 to 4 degrees which is still not cold enough. A freezer should be below 0.
Using the 4or 5 setting doesn't make the freezer às cold as it should be, but it makes the refrigerator part very cold to 30 to 32 degrees. In short, this is not a good freezer and the single setting for freezer and fridge is terrible. I have to keep it at 5 to get the freezer as close to 0 as possible, even though the fridge goes to 30 to 32. I used analog and digital thermometers to check the temperature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely love my new fridge. Amazing aesthetic, cold temperatures for both fridge and freezer, perfect for edible foods for absolute freshness! Very easy to maneuver around - highly recommend.

New Fridge

This fridge is quite handsome but I'm sorry that it lacks the room of my old one (even though the dimensions were the same. Only two shelves on the door will not accommodate our array of condiments so I'm missing the three shelves we had before. The fridge motor is quiet and it is keeping the freezer icy and the box cold.
