Max size for small space restrictions

Product design is good and handy. It fits my height restriction. Refrigerator a bit noisy when running. Wish could purchase with ice maker Pre installed - but was out of stock . Digital temp would be appreciated

This product works well.
Unit does not roll well when moving. Actually scratch the floor when trying to move the unit.

When moving the refrigerator, turn the leveling legs at each front corner of the refrigerator counterclockwise until the rollers support the refrigerator, now pull the refrigerator straight out and return it to its position by pushing it straight in. You can follow the instruction listed on page 8 of the manual at this link:

Wonderful efficient appliance

I really love my new refrigerator but just wished it was a little bigger. I currently live in an apartment so I didn’t really have a say in the size I would have preferred because the broken refrigerator was an 18 inch one which was a great size. But no complaints and I like the GE Product.

16.6 cu ft top freezer refrigerator

This is our 2nd refrigerator in 25 years. Only used 6 months each year, seasonal. Excellent size for cottage. Temp control for both fridge and freezer is optimal.

A Disappointment

Our 39 year old refrigerator started too struggle keeping cold enough, so we were forced to make a hurried purchase. I shopped the specs and wanted a size matching Whirlpool but was told it was on back-order, with no estimated date. The salesman suggested this model. Unfortunately I took the bait. Overall the main point is this model has cut corners wherever possible. There is a draw were our old model had a “meat” draw that had a lead from the freezer to keep it colder than the rest of the general area to better preserve meat. This model does not have that lead, therefore no meat draw. The old model had an egg storage bin with an egg holder and cover on the door. This model does not have this very convenient feature. The old and this model both have draws intended for fruit and vegetables. The problem with this model is the squeaking noise it makes when opening and closing them. It’s somewhat like screeching chalk on a blackboard. I’ll have to find some food friendly way to lubricate them. The worst thing about this new model is the noise it makes when operating. I can’t distinguish when it is running in it’s defrost mode or just generally running the compressor to lower the internal temperature. In either case it is loud and worse than our old 39 year old refrigerator. On the positive side it does it’s main job of keeping food cold.
