Does not dry dishes

New House Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does get dishes clean. That is a positive. We don’t like how the silverware is just bunched together and not separated. You can tell if dishwasher is done or not because the lights are on top of the door. The last negative is the bottom rack pushes in very awkwardly and sometimes has to be lifted to return it. I don’t like how the racks are engineered.

Great purchase for our home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a year of spending money on new dishwashers that kept breaking while attempting to replace our home original 80’s dishwasher, we can finally say this one was absolutely worth it. No issues mounting, no broken circuit boards, and an appealing aesthetic! We are happy to have a sturdy dishwasher that works so well!

Good looking, but miss the heat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At the time of purchase, we did not realize that the dishwasher did not have a "heat" dry setting - it only has an "AIR" dry option. Often times, we have to towel dry our dishes but if you use the recommended Finish Jet-dry rinse aid that does help to dry the dishes.....but that's just an extra expense that we did not have with our old dishwasher.
The dishwasher does look sharp, and I think that it relatively quiet compared to our old one. The jets seem to wash the food off of our dishes although I can't say that I have tested it with dried on food particles; I rinse food off plates before putting in dishwasher - I don't like the idea of food laying at the bottom. I give it a three star because I really miss the heat dry element, and hate that I am drying dishes with a towel.

Sorry for any confusion - this model does have a heated dry option! "Air Dry" should only be selected if you want to dry your dishes without heat. Deselected, the dishwasher will proceed with a heated dry cycle. You also have "Hi Temp" and "Sanitize" options for your wash! The heated dry combined with rinse aid should leave your dishes perfectly dry. Additionally, we do not recommend pre-rinsing dishes as the debris will help to activate the detergent. Otherwise, you may not be getting as efficient cleaning. Any food particles will be drained out the bottom or caught in the glass trap, which can be removed and cleaned out as needed! The black stainless goes with almost all other appliances.
