Good, but not like my old whirlpool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit looks amazing in the kitchen and works good, but I would prefer my old whirlpool we had. It cleans the dishes great, but leaves the silverware rusty for some reason now. I am not sure if it doesn’t dry as well or what, but that is the only thing negative to say. Other than that, everything is clean and looks good.

I find the design disfunctional

The washer mounts under the counter, I can’t see where in the cycle the wash is at currently. The instructions on how to get it started from the manual are horrible, I literally went online to find a video of how to get it going without the delay option. I also can’t find anywhere in the manual if it makes a noise when the cycle is finished, if it doesn’t am I supposed to guess and open the door this repeating the cycle? I ran it during the night so it was done in the morning but what if I want to run it during the day? Over all, it’s a 3

Thank you for your feedback! The hidden controls on this dishwasher are designed to provide a sleeker, more professional look than older models. To start a cycle, just open the door, select your wash options, press START, and close the door. The dishwasher should start immediately! Just make sure the door is closed within 3 seconds of pressing START; there is a safety feature to prevent automatic start if the door is left open too long. It will not chime at the end of a cycle, but will illuminate the CLEAN light which should be visible under the counter. If the door is opened in the middle of a cycle, closing it again should allow it to continue without restarting.

Works well but confusing buttons
