Dishes could be drier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a new construction home and the builder installed all Frigidaire appliances. The dishwasher does it’s job. My only complaint is that my cups on the top rack don’t always completely dry. Also, the racks don’t slide on their tracks as smoothly as other dishwashers.

LindaMomAndWife, thank you for taking a moment to apprise us of the lack of drying your dishwasher is experiencing. Most challenges with drying are related to water temperature. The incoming water temperature should be at least 120°F for efficient cleaning and drying. Before starting a cycle, please run the water in the sink until it is hot (like you might do before getting in the shower), to clear cool water from the pipes. Choose a heated dry option rather than air dry. Make sure you are using rinse aid, you can even increase the amount dispensed to help with drying (page 10 in your Owner’s Manual has the instructions). Plastics may need to be towel dried as they don’t get as hot as metal or glass, so more water collects. Cups with a concave bottom will collect water. Load them at the far left of the upper rack so they will be held in a tilted position. Decent dishwasher

You get what you pay for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Didn't want to spend a fortune on a talking, high-tech dishwasher, so got this low priced unit. It works but is far from a well made unit. The controls, which should be simple are far from easy to understand.
The top tray sticks and is hard to pull more than halfway out. Worst of all is the poor drying. The air drying feature does nothing, you're required to use the heated drying.
My main objective is to get something that will last a long time. The unit this replaces was new with the house 20 years ago. Although fixed twice, it did last 20 years. I'll be happy if this lasts half that, but don't expect it.

Hasn’t worked since installed

Very disappointed in this model

The last time was because the whole motherboard was damaged by water. Am not a fan of the controls being on the inside top of the drawer either:

Upgraded our Kitchen with Style and Beauty

What makes a new owner happy with their dishwasher? After it has been installed and it works exactly as you hoped. Had to put my ear to the door to make sure it was operating / quieter than expected. We drink hot tea often and it stains the porcelain cups. This model performed excellently removing any and all tea stains from the cups - amazing. Best test that we know of. Very happy with the operation of this model and it sure has made our kitchen look upgraded with style and beauty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it a month ago. It looks good. The only thing I don't like is that I can't just set it to dry. With my old one, if it didn't dry very good, I good set it to dry a little longer. This one not so. It doesn't seem to dry very well with the time it has to dry and there is no 'dry only' cycle to select.
