Kind of sucks!

I gave this 2 stars because the DW is quiet, but it doesn’t dry the dishes at all. I just kick myself for not reading theses reviews. Everybody seems to have the same problem. Don’t buy this model spend a few dollars more for a model that will dry your dishes. Isn’t that the purpose of a dishwasher....to wash AND dry the dishes?

Hey Cinderella99! I truly apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced with your dishwasher not drying your dishes. I would recommend using a rinse aid if you are not using one already. I would also check that your water heater is set at 120°F (49°C) to get proper water temperature inside the dishwasher. Also, check the incoming water temperature to be sure it is not less than 120°F (49°C) at the sink closest to the dishwasher.

Quiet

It looks nice, and I like not having to see all the function buttons...and it runs so quietly that you barely even notice that it's running. It takes forever to run through the cycle though, and I have had to rewash some dishes a few times, as they weren't clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

buttons hid by cabinet and does not dry dishes wel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher to match my new oven and refrigerator. But I had to have them not bolt it to the cabinet because it hides the buttons to use it. I also noticed the dishes don't dry very well I even put Finish dishwasher rinse aide in to see if it would help. I would not purchase this product again. The top rack is too short to put 32 ounce cups in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Builder put this appliance into our home. The plastic inside seems to keep smells. I am used to the stainless steel basin. It seems very cheaply made from the racks to the utensil holder. Not happy with this at all and this will be the first appliance I will replace in my new beautiful home.

Thank you for sharing your dishwasher experience, englkj. I recommend trying the steps below:
Step 1
Clean out your garbage disposal. Slice a lemon and put the slices down your disposal drain. Run your disposal with the cold water running. You can use just the lemon or an orange rind if you don’t have a whole lemon.
Step 2
Pour two cups of vinegar into the dishwasher and let it sit for an hour and then let the dishwasher run through a cycle with the hottest water possible. Repeat the process if that does not help. You can use baking soda instead of vinegar – just sprinkle it in the bottom of the dishwasher.
Step 3
Between washes, pour ¼ cup lemon juice into the dishwasher cup, and run a short but complete wash cycle. It will not only deodorize the dishwasher, but will also help get rid of any metal build-up.

Dhowe, I am glad to hear how happy you are with your new dishwasher’s performance. There will be a “new” smell when first installed. Check to see if unit is draining properly. The drain hose loop must be at least 32” high from the floor to insure proper drainage (you may be able to check this under the sink with a tape measure. Please see “Finishing the drain connection # 6” in the installation instructions. For more troubleshooting ideas, please see page 15 in your Owner’s Manual.
