Hello there, Thanks for your purchase! We use foam insulation in our new refrigerator models which has excellent insulating capabilities and is very energy efficient, however, it's not as sound absorbent as previously used fiberglass insulation. Depending on the placement of the refrigerator in your kitchen, you may want to place a piece of rubber backed carpet beneath the refrigerator to help reduce the sounds.

Nice looking, easy to move, plenty of room. Only complaint from the time I plugged it in, was that it ran louder than normal. I had to call out a repair company to fix the problem. Turns out a bracket for fan in the freezer as well as some wiring was loose and needed to be tightened done. This should have been done and inspected at the factory.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hate the stainless, too small, weird noises

Would not recommend. Stainless is a pain to keep looking nice. So small really only for one person. Often makes a weird noise when running.. rattling. (I didn’t pick - purchased by my property management co. Who are cheap.)

Unbelievably loud. Do not buy this refrigerator

I think this is an awful refrigerator . I may be cooling to the appropriate temperature but it sounds like a jet plane. No ability to reach customer support until Monday .

Plenty of room inside and not noisy

I love the refrigerator even though it is small I can fit everything into it without any problem. We have two people in our family. I needed a small fridge due to a small space to fit it in. It fit perfectly.

Gradual increase in noise. no cooling below

No functional refrigerator from the start. Low cooling issue in lower compartment. Increasing unbearable noise in the upper freezer. barely got a chance to use it for a month, then November very low cooling and increasing noise. Then long waits for repairs and parts, over and over. Then insane noise after repairs a week ago. Had to wait for another tech to come and say the obvious that the unit this model is defective and told the customer relations to replace it. It's FL. Refrigerators are essential here. This was the worst experience I ever had with a new appliance. Any unit that has this exact design is definitely prone to this noise issue in the evaporator area of the freezer. These are not vibrations. It's like someone drags a pile of metal on concrete. I had 3 repairs. They don't communicate with repairmen. On the phone they just keep scheduling more and more repairs. This is another red flag. GE is no longer a reliable company, as they rather spend more money on all these useless repairs rather then less money on replacing the defective model. It's not over. I still have to call them with a new case number on Monday, then wait for the replacement which will take weeks as they do everything slow and we are in holidays almost. So my hopes to get a refrigerator by 2022. I hope it can be a model with a different freezer design, cause anything that looks like this will develop that noise overtime and doesn't cool the lower section.

Inspired by GE products since growing up learning to cook with my mother. Brown refrigerator and electric coil range in 1970s. It lasted forever. Only product line my large family uses. This is my 3rd purchase since early 1980s. Love my electric coil ranges. Top quality. Waited 4 months for delivery. Worth the wait!
