Very quiet, modern and efficient

This fridge is the perfect size to fit in our small townhouse condo galley kitchen. But it's not so small that it feels like a mini fridge. It's extremely quiet when running. Both fridge and freezer stay at the correct temperatures so far. We really love this refrigerator! Thanks, GE!

Fine for non-top-of-the-line fridge

We picked this model based on our built-in space constraints, and it’s fine for an inexpensive fridge. It seems rather noisy when the compressor runs (might be typical for lower-end models) and the inside lighting isn’t optimal...the light itself is bright, but poorly placed, resulting in dark spots.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has everything that I need. My only issue is that the compressor/fans seem to run a lot and are kinda noisy. Haven't had it long but I've had good luck with GE in the past.

Newer refrigerators have compressors that are designed to run 80% to 90% of the time. This makes them more energy efficient because the greatest amount of energy is used when the compressor cycles on as opposed to when the compressor is actually running. Fits Just Right

It fits my kitchen just right! It looks great, keeps food the perfect coldness. My only down point is that it is just a bit noisy (low hum but noticeable) when kicking on to cool.

GE Fridge Storage Review

Closed storage areas are smaller than the previous model that I replaced with this one. Door storage is not closed at the bottom enabling things to fall through. Closed storage on the door is very small barely fits a LB of butter. The unit seems to run a lot more than the previous model. Having a full storage rack in the freezer as opposed to the half rack in the previous model seems to be more of a hindrance than a plus so far. The pull out storage drawer are also smaller and can't fit a carton of eggs in them. The unit was missing 2 screws that mount the bottom door hinge. Replacements were sent but they were the wrong size. Hoping this unit lasts as long as the previous model and wish they hadn't made the changes in the storage sizes.
