Stainless steel neck and chamber

Was easy to install with locking ring. Also runs very quiet. I researched disposers and found this one has stainless for all wet metal parts. As my last disposer corroded out, this was an important feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this item a week ago. Installed it last night. Had a GE disposer when we built the house 30 years ago. Expecting it to last as long as the last one which was about 15 years.

lasted only a little over 1 year, then something inside came apart causing major noise and disposal to freeze up

Too noisy, shakes, works good!

It was hard to install. The box failed to say it did not have a cord. The locking mechanism is faulty it failed to install properly with only friction. When it turned on, it makes a very loud noise and starts to shake and rattle the whole cabinet. The water does empty fast. I am not happy with it. I know that all the shaking will eventually loosen the disposal and water will start leaking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
