My kids tend to not dump food in the trash can. So far this disposal has handled perfectly. Very powerful.

i wouldnt buy one again, it is very noisy, always sounds like it is grinding, even with only water

Easy to install and love the size

I replaced my old larger one and although I was told I would need 2 people I was able to install it easily by myself. It works great and I have more room under the sink. VERY HAPPY

My previous 3/4 HP GE Disposal was 14 years old and still operating. It had developed a bearing noise that was objectionable but it stll operated well. I decided to replace it with another reliable GE Disposal.
I would recommend this to a friend!
