It took us awhile to find this replacement disposal but finely found it online for a reasonable price. It was easy to install and it has been chopping up our garbage quite nicely.

This product was pretty simple to install. It is much powerful than my previous disposal. I thought it would have been much quieter than my other disposal and it wasn't but overall all it is a good product.

Ok but missing critical feature

So the disposal seems to work alright but ge forgot to design it with a manual wrench feature used to help unclog it or break apart things that might get stuck in the unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Old GE disposal ran without issues for 21 years. This model was a replacement.
