The luggage does not look nearly as nice in person. I also have a lot of issues with the inside lining. I would not recommend this suitcase. We have two of the other Minnie ones and they are much better.

Do not buy these bags!

I bought this for a three week trip, my husband bought the same one, while ours are not the same pattern, they are the same protuct. Flimsy sides and no cushioning on sides, fabric over frame.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
