[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this bag in 6 months ago and traveled with it on 3 trips. This last trip, I got it off the belt and the handle was gone and the zipper was damaged and not connecting as it should. Very disappointed that the quality didn't last on this. Hoping that Samsonite will replace or repair it. I just got back from the trip this week.
Pros: Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, Lightweight
Cons: Bad Zippers, Poor Quality, Tears Easily

At the moment, the best I can give it is a 2. The suitcase has plenty of room and rolls very easy but I have used it one time and the side handle is gone but there seems to be no other damage. I have contacted Samsonite to see if this will be warranted or not and am still awaiting a reply (only method to contact was via email). If they fix it, then I hope it is a one-off as I bought 2 of the 28" spinners and one 20". If they do not take care of it then I will most likely send all 3 back and go with another brand. On a side note, I bought Samsonite as I have had there product in the past with no issue but having a handle disappear on the 1st usage makes the current quality at least suspect. We will see if they stand behind it or not.

Sturdy long haul suitcase; would purchase again!

I have just used this case for one transatlantic trip and two additional European segments and it's held up well with a full load (50 pounds). There are already 2 small dents at the corners and small scratched, but no cracking. The design and pattern on the shell hides these dings better than my previous Rimowa cases (which ultimately cracked). This shell seems less rigid. The color (blue teal) is great to spot on the carousel without being "too loud" for business travel.
The inner design with one side netted and the other side with elastic bands can be tricky when opening to ensure that everything doesn't spill out, but I personally like this set up best to seperate the two sides.
The wheels have overall been fantastic rolling over cobblestone and curbs with easy. It doesn't seem to glide as easily when you want it to roll parallel to you in airports, but that may be due to the size or my heavy load?
Overall, as a frequent travel who has burned through virtually every high end brand of suitcase, I am delighted. It's the perfect balance between light weight and sturdiness. The Samonsite quality is evident and I expect this suitcase to last me quite a while! I am glad I purchased it and would buy again. 4 star rating is simply to reflect the dings and rolling details mentioned above.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a part of a sampling program and was very pleased with it. I didn't realize how large it was going to be, and if I had a concern, it would be that! And, I realize that sounds weird! Although I travel often, even for my longer trips, the bag was quite large. There was ample room in it for everything, and then some. Because of the size, it was nice that there was a strap to hold the items from each side to keep the items from sliding all over. The overall quality and sturdiness of the case, however, was great!

Several trips, no damage

I’ve had this since my escape from the US in 2020. WFH or work from the beach in Barbados? I’ve traveled on so many flights and have stayed at so many hotels that I’ve forgotten some.
This has lasted throughout all the trips, throws and bangs that airlines give it. It has earned some scratches here and there, but the handle, zipper and lock are all in top condition.
I’m surprised others have had issues with this. As for me my only “complaint” would be that at almost 11 lbs it cuts in to the weight limit of what I can pack. But it’s a hard case, so that’s the trade off.
