Great Car seat

We had this car seat for 6 years and it held up wonderful. It is a little bulky but if you aren’t moving from one vehicle to another then there is no issue. It grows with the child and keeps them safe!

We loved this car seat so much we got 2 of them! My son is just extremely big and started to grow out of it by the age of 3.5 years old. We got an other Graco car seat. And he loves it too

My children tend to be on the taller side! This car seat has definitely been worth the money! I love the cup holder & it’s easy to clean. Will definitely be buying another one when my youngest is a little older.

Perfect to keep rear facing

You should keep your child rear facing until you max out the weight of the rear facing car seat. There is some state laws in the US say you can turn your child to front face at a year old or two years old, I highly recommend doing your own research. These laws are just the bare minimum and it’s actually a lot safer to keep them rear facing. Otherwise if you are in a really bad car wreck and they are forward facing, they could suffer internal decapitation.
This is the perfect car seat to keep them rear facing. The foot rest is extendable so it gives them extra legroom and it converts to a booster with or without a back, as well as rear facing and front facing car seat.

This car seat was definitely one of those great baby purchases you can make. My son sits in it very comfortably. I was able to keep him rear facing untill he was about 4, which is amazing! After doing lots of research, I found that rear facing is the safest way to sit them as it absorbs impact better with less stress to their little bodies. My son is now forward facing and still very comfortable. He likes that he has 2 cup holders, one for his drink and one for snacks (or toys). Once he gets big enough, I love that it easily convers to a booster seat. The reclining positions also worked great for when he was an infant. This car seat truly lasts for ever. Definitely recommend.

May not live up to the 4ever moniker - design flaw

We brought our newborn home in this car seat in 2018 and she will soon be 5. The prospect of having one seat that can grow with the child justified the purchase, but like another reviewer pointed out, the crotch strap is a pain and I'm not sure how much longer this seat will work. Our daughter has to pull her legs up and out so as to help with the buckling in process and to avoid getting pinched. She weighs 33 lbs and has an inseam of 18 inches. It would we great if this could be replaced with a longer strap.
I was also unable to locate replacement part 2021167, to replace the fabric and foam cover that was torn while being transported on a flight.
