I love the features, but..

Man I love everything about this stroller except the main component which is the wheels!! It’s so hard to maneuver, not the smoothest ride. The front wheel does whatever it wants and sometimes it jolts, and my poor baby looks like he’s about to get a whip lash. is there anything I can do to change this, Graco, help us Moms!!

Terrible Front Wheel
on February 24, 2019

I’ve been on the fence about this review for a while. A year to be exact. Kept thinking it was user error. Nope. Not anymore. When pushing this stroller it is impossible to use one hand. When you stop & start again the front wheel has a mind of its own and somehow goes sideways. I have to tap it with my foot to get it to straighten out. I dread using this expensive hunk of junk. I absolutely love the features. But the most important part (using it) it falls extremely short. Tonight was the final straw. I was pushing it, stopped to talk to my son. Tried to keep walking and it’s wheel turned sideways, which causes the stroller to jerk, and my poor babies face went smashing into the tray. She ended up with a busted bottom lip. I will never use this stroller again.

I have this stroller. I absolutely love it. Now wish with the second baby it could come in a double. I love the multi way seat.

Very Versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this because of it's versatility. I like that the car seat can be attached facing front or backwards, and the toddler seat can also face forward or back. We are having a June baby, and our summers are always really busy. We're on the go doing outdoor activities constantly, so it will be nice to have something we can just click the car seat into and go with when the baby is small. This was my selling point.

It’s perfrct! We love it, our special needs baby loves it too! She loves she doesn’t get the wind in her face, and she actually enjoys the ride. It’s well built the only complaint is you need to take the seat off to fold up nicely. Other than that, works fabulously.

We upgraded from another Graco stroller to the Modes and it was well worth it. We should have done it from day 1. Strollers with small wheels are not built for outdoor life. They will not roll smoothly over sticks and rocks in the road or on the trail. The modes will. With the air filled, larger diameter tires, nothing stops it. I can come down off a curb and the water bottle stays in the cup holder. I run with the front wheel unlocked. I haven't had any issues with 5 runs under my belt so far. When locked, I had to keep the front raised. It was too much work.
The phone holder barely works for my larger phone (Pixel 2xl). The holders either hit the volume down button or the power button. There's one orientation which works but it's touchy.
Assembly was easy, much easier than the dresser we bought for him.
It fits into the trunk of our smaller cars just like the other one. It's heavier but you can take the wheels off to fit it better.

Steering is awful

Pros stroller is tall so baby is up high (infant) Sturdy Large basket underneath to carry baby bag
Cons Extremely difficult to steer Front Wheel Gets stuck 90% of the time you’re struggling to keep it in the right direction. Even if you lock the front wheel then you’re stuck forcing it to turn and your forearms are Burning by the end of a short walk. Doesn’t handle grass or dirt roads at all Super heavy and difficult to get in and out of the car (I
