Front Wheel Issues

I bought this stroller for my first child and the front wheel has been having issues since the beginning. The wheel doesn’t move properly and I have to continually stop to adjust it. I’m so disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stroller has some nice features like rear-facing seat and large undercarriage but as far as being a “jogging stroller” it has 3 wheels and that’s about it. Description talks about all-terrain wheels and suspension, there is no suspension. The whole unit clanks and startles your baby at every crack in the sidewalk. Forget walking over gravel. I was willing to have a bulky cumbersome stroller if I could use it on gravel trails but this isn’t that stroller.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

I bought this stroller back in July. I have only had a few chances to use it but every time I do it’s disappointing. Every time I have tried to actually run with this stroller it lists to one side so I end up having to run while holding the stroller in a wheelie. Which is not what I want to have to worry about when jogging. It’s annoying to do and means my son is sitting is an awkward position. Also when I am not jogging and do not have the front wheel locked it sometimes turns and gets stuck causing the whole stroller and you to come to an abrupt and complete stop. I’ve almost tipped the stroller over several times because of this. It’s extremely frustrating. The tire position also becomes an issue when trying to close the stroller as well. If the front tire is not turned the stroller will not collapse. Also extremely frustrating. This brings me to the ride. The stroller does not handle any bumps or rough surfaces well at all. For claiming to be all terrain it only really rides well on smooth surfaces. So if you happen to be on gravel or an in even surface it will be a rough ride for everyone.
I bought this stroller because I loved how you could turn the seat around to be forward and rear facing. I was very excited to use it and can not express how disappointed I was after using it a couple times.

Why did they discontinue the SE??

This is the worst "upgrade" ever! We had the Modes SE jogger and absolutely adored it! I felt like I could take on any terrain, it glided like a dream, and I loved all the different seating positions for the baby. But then we somehow damaged the rear wheel and instead of being able to replace the part they offered us this upgrade as a replacement. At first we were excited, but then we actually used this stroller...
CONS:
- the stroller itself is insanely heavy, it feels like effort to push (the SE model seemed to glide)
- it does not turn easily and pulls to one side while walking
- it does not smoothly roll over even just regular sidewalk
- it has a smartphone holder! that of course does not fit my phone... so if i want to put my phone and speaker in the tray i have to open the box portion and leave it open
- the cupholder holds NONE of my water bottles without them rattling around and even bouncing out
- it squeaks and creaks while walking
- because the closing mechanism is in the middle of the handle, it feels like the stroller is wiggling and shifting while walking almost like the handlebar is separating
PROS:
- full size sun shade with peek-through screen
- reflectors on wheel spokes
- i do like the larger size foot brakes
Seriously, get a different stroller. I put some serious miles on this thing just walking around the neighborhood over the last 3 months and I wish I had gotten a new one sooner.

Started off great...

This stroller was great to start, but now the front wheel won't spin. The issue popped up while my wife was a mile away from our house with our six week old daughter, and had to work super hard to get back home. This is really disappointing, because we loved everything else about this until this issue started occurring!

Front wheel gets stuck, impossible to steer

I loved the idea of this stroller, It works great with the car seat and folds very easily. But the front wheel frequently gets stuck and makes it so the stroller won’t turn or steer at all, even with adjusting the front wheel setting, and I constantly have to manually move the front wheel so that it will go straight and steer. Makes it tough for long, winding walks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
