I love love love it!!!

I was experiencing power surges and my old speakers would sound like they were blowing up. The marley xl speaker is so awesome!! 16 hour rechargeable battery. I’m really happy with it.

I have bought two of these speakers so I can pair them and listen to them on my device's in stereo, and they do not disappoint. Clear loud sound and great bass,connecting was easy and quick. When my friend heard them he had to go buy some,Thanks for the great speakers, and not to mention price.!!

It sounds good, depending on the room it’s in. Our kitchen has a high ceiling and sounds a little hollow in there. It is heavy for a portable speaker. We bought on sale and it never came with a charger? Been very frustrated trying to find a cable that works with it. Should’ve just returned it but life gets in the way and still looking for a replacement charger.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Distortion and volume issues

Wow, I am not impressed with this. Went to the Regina store a while back and tested out the smaller one and it sounded pretty good in the store so when I saw that the larger and more expensive version was on sale it seemed like a no brainer, I knew I would need some pretty powerful sound to replace the car speakers which froze this winter. Even though I really liked the sound from a smaller speaker of a different brand that was on sale for 60 dollars elsewhere, I spent exactly twice that much for this because of how it also had the ability to work as a speaker phone which would be useful in the car. Then I got it home and tested it and the phone volume is actually lower at its max, than the smartphone on it's own on speakerphone mode - the caller on the other end of the line when I turned off the marley speaker and just used the cheap crappy smartphone held out at arms length "wow, that's much better, what did you do?" So basically my 89 dollar phone blows this out of the water for that function. Next I went to test out a few songs...distortion - perhaps I have low quality files? I tried a few songs, all varying levels of distortion. Okay, so I tried running off of battery instead in case it was the outlet, nope. Next Audible - Distortion. I give up. It's going right back to the store for a refund and now the sale for the other speaker I wanted is over. Bravo.

Very good wireless speaker

Speaker has very good sound, even when outdoors. Not the loudest speaker but pretty good. Holds charge for many hours which is nice. It only comes with a very short HDM1 cord which can be unpractical, i wish the manufacturer included more cord options, this is the only drawback which is not huge but that is why i do not give a full 5 star rating. Over all i am very happy with this speaker.

Would highly recommend especially if its on sale. Solid amount of bass for the price. Super durable, I’ve dropped it a few times and no quality loss at all.
I exchanged the original unit within 30 days because my friend borrowed it and it became defective because he used it on full volume. Since i exchanged it i only use 90% volume and no problems. Its annoying to have to remember that rule but everything else about it is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The “Bag of Riddim” is an awesome speaker. Treble is nice and clear and it gives off amazing bass as well. Would definitely buy again!
