The audio quality is horrendous. Has loud noises, records twice as much due to the 2 cameras. The video quality is very bad, they cheaped out due to having two cameras.
Returned within a week of trying it out, would not recommend. Seemed like a decent brand, but was not.
Also read the app (MyGeckoApp) reviews. 1 star with 20+ reviews.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got the unit a few days ago and am pleasantly surprised how easy it works. It is basically it goes on when you start the car and off when you stop the car. Bonus is that you can set it up to also record when the car is off and if there is movement around the car. It can also be set up to view it on your cell phone by wifi. Over all, great purchase and I had tried about 5 or 6 others before I ended up with the Geko. You get what you pay for.
