Cute, but very poorly made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because it honestly looked very lovely. However, after receiving it, my opinion of it went downhill very quickly. This was VERY poorly built. Packaging was okay, no damage occurred due to shipping. Included there was a giant chunk of wood that matched the finish of the entertainment center that was included "for packaging purposes only". I really can't tell if they were being strategic about packing or if they were just packing the waste so they didn't have to toss it. Assembly was a pain in the butt. Holes mismatched, misaligned, crooked, an absolute hassle. Couldn't put the backing to the particle board behind the doors in the back, not without breaking it. The spot where you attach the hinges to the door was put in crooked, which means the doors don't even close all the way. The bottom middle supports were too tall for the entertainment center. The top was a nightmare because of everything misaligned. We ended up getting it all together, however, we are seriously considering trashing it. It's got a cute design, but that's seriously it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely solid piece, I totally love this TV stand! It took me and my wife about two hours to put it together and that’s because we had kids running around. If you follow the instructions given step by step you won’t have any issues. Also, all parts are clearly marked so you won’t get confused. It fits perfectly in the living room and we love the white oak color. It arrived well packaged. It’s little bit heavy so don’t try to carry it by yourself. I highly recommend getting one and you won’t be disappointed.

Doors are a bit wonky and were the hardest thing about the assembly. Unit is solid.
