This laptop works as expected. It is quick to start. It runs multiple high demand programs at once. The battery life so far has been great. I have worked unplugged for over four hours without any concerns.
Overall I'm happy with the purchase of this laptop. It's fast, batter life seems reasonable, love the larger keyboard and screen size. The touch screen can sometimes be a bit frustrating when not use to it, and on certain chats I have to scroll down else loose sight to the conversation. I would recommend.

Excellent, supreme performances! I switched from a macbook air to this computer and is very content with it. Overall, everything is just right. A full day of battery juice, little to no noise made by the fan, comfortable keyboard travel distance, and nice big keyboard with number pad. The device with within a reasonable weight. However the trackpad scroll does sometimes slack off a little bit.
I could not be more pleased with my new T590. The keyboard has an excellent feel and the laptop works very well with my Wacon Mouse/Pen Tablet. The case is sturdyand strong. I like the fact that I can open it with one hand. Time will tell if I continue to be as impressed but we are off to a good start.
Just ok not as fast as I thought. Graphic card can not handle fortnite. Also to expensive for what you get . Hard drive is small too

A great unit. The touch screen was a very useful option to get, especially when collaborating with others. Also, really glad to get the 512 GB SSD and 16 GB Ram which make it a very fast machine. The intel i5 8th gen is performing very well also. I have no complaints yet. Only a few weeks of use, but so far great.
I’ve had several Thinkpads, most recently a x1 carbon, t470 and x1 yoga...but this t590 seems to be of lower quality than my previous T series. The keyboard bezel has sharp edges. Performance is what I expected. The display seems to auto adjust the brightness, the same thing my x1 yoga does. it seems to happen on transitions from dark screens to white. I think it could be the video card, updated drivers don’t fix it. Both my x1 yoga and the t590 have the same chipset.
I would recommend this to a friend!
