A bit tricky

I didn't want stainless and I had a glass top unit before, so I though this was the best solution.It it very pretty, but tricky to use. Burns much hotter than my old unit. Not crazy about the burner placment either. Why they put the "simmer" one in the front is beyond me considering they put the second smallest burner in the front too. The middle one gets extremely hot, so you have to be careful on how high you make the flame. It will burn whatever is on the sides of your pan. The last complaint I have is that it's terribly hard to keep clean. I have tried glass cleaner -streaks; I even tried alcohol, still streaks. I just try and keep it as clean as I can.

Burners Keep Breaking - Less than 1-year old

Already had a part replaced for a burner not working and now it's not working again. I would not recommend this stovetop. Also, takes a long time to boil water, I had hoped that getting a stovetop with such high BTU would make water boil fast.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bosch Cooktop is an amazing experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely an upgrade from our previous cooktop, the Bosch Benchmark dropped right into the same cut-out with ease and has been an excellent experience to date. In 10-20 years from now, we'll definitely being buying Bosch again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this cooktop for some weeks now and continue to be very pleased. I very much like the double central burner.....the simmer is actually a true simmer flame. First time in many houses I have had that luxury. All the other burners are different sizes which makes it easy to match to cookware.
The grates are very good, well designed and easy to remove to clean. The glass surface is easy to clean. I have had this type of surface before and this one has not disappointed me.
Lastly, it just looks fabulous! Not utilitarian at all! Overall, a well designed cooktop.

If a tank could cook

Built like a tank in the German tradition, this is a high qauality addition to. serious kitchen. Having a choice of burner heats is useful and the unit is relatively easy to clean. Relative to others which are REALLY difficult.

Nice cooktop
