[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge to replace our KitchenAid builtin fridge that lasted 28 years!
Thank you for having the same dimensions as the old one. We did not have to have expense of modifying the space. Also we didnt want the "internet of things" with a fridge and this one has only the basic functions...thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this because the house i moved in had a built in and had to replace a 19 year old kitchen aid built in only one made to fit and its very expensive because of that reason i guess but it looks great and the newer model has more useable space

We replaced our 23 yr old SubZero with this fridge. The look is streamline & we love, love, love the finger print proof SS finish! This is what sold us over competitors like GE Monogram. The filter is very EZ to change & installation for the built in was very easy. Fit like a glove. If you have children or large family ice maker is not fast recovery...although perfect for 2 people.
Love this product & would recommend it to anyone looking for a 36"W built-in.

vegetables put in water freeze. water comes out of the ice maker before the ice cubes come out. not as good as prior identical model.

Love my new Built-In Side-by-Side

We replaced our old built-in Subzero in the same space and haven't looked back. Somehow for the same cubic feet the layout has increased our available shelf space. The LED lighting is awesome and makes everything look more appealing.
The PrintShield finish completely works as compared with our other stainless steel appliances.

I regret buying kitchenaid builtin side by side

I bought this kitchenaid a year ago, besides the faulty water taste that it always had and company did nothing to fix it, now the temperature control is broken. I regret getting kitchenaid I should have stayed with GE builtin refrigerator in first place

A bit disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the 42-inch version of this unit in our former home, and put the 36-inch in our current home after a remodel. Never had a problem with the 42-inch and loved it. However, this unit hasn't measured up. Installed in October 2018 ; had to replace the ice-maker unit in December 2018; now waiting to get the parts to replace the control panel in the freezer that tells the ice-maker when the bucket is full. The water spillage we had before replacing the ice-maker has returned. Hoping the next service will fix it for good.
