As usual, with SmartSwitch, the transfer of data from my S8+ to my Note 10 was easy. Then when trying to set up the Note 10 to somewhat look & feel like what I'm used to in the S8+, I wanted to remove apps from the home screens, but found that I couldn't. After a while of four letter words and moving icons 1 or 2 at a time, and not understanding how the display really worked, I had an epiphany. I could select multiple icons and drag them to where I want them. It was a bit cumbersome, but I finally figured it out somewhat.
Like the apple phones I've been avoiding for a decade or more, it has all the app icons on all the desktop screens and there wasn't a quick way to sort or organize them. Until I taught myself to do it efficiently.
Also as do apple phones, it now has only one prt for both charging, headphones, and connections. So now I need adaptors for headphones and existing chargers, which already were USBC. The cable it does come with is USBC to USBC; and there's an adaptor with USBC & female USB, none of which is terribly useful if you have a nice set of headphones like Bose.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the new features and it has tones of memory but this device has a problem with syncing old bluetooth devices such as soundbar R450.

The worst Samsung product I have had. Two weak, screen air bubbles started after just 4 weeks of use. Not as fast, and loose mobile network often, while other phones on the same network and same location have no problems. Many problems operationally and physically.Time to switch to I phone after S5, all Samsung phone quality isgoing done big time

Small but Mighty

I've been a fan of Samsung for years and this is the second Note device I've ever used. They're one of my favorite OEMs right up there with Google and OnePlus. I opted for the smaller Note 10 not only because of the price but because I also felt that it would be easier to use one handed which it is for me. I got the Aura Black color.
The negatives of getting the Note 10 is the fact that there is no SD card slot, the phone is not as large as one would expect from the Note line, no headphone jack (the big brother Note doesn't have this either), the screen resolution being capped at 1080p and the battery being a 3400 mAh cell. I knew all of that going into buying the phone and for me the onboard storage, no jack, size and resolution are perfectly fine for me. However you'd have to decide for yourself if those specs are acceptable. Obviously since the Note 10 is a flagship device you're going to have the top of the line at the time Snapdragon processor (if you're buying a US version).
The pros are basically that you'll be getting a solid offering from Samsung like you pretty much always do, a Note that's a lot easier for those of us with small hands to use. One UI 2 looks 1000x better than TouchWiz and while still suffering from having too much bloatware (two Contact apps, two Messaging apps, two Calculators, etc.) the interface is slick and smooth. Again not as good as stock Android but still very nice. I haven't run into any issues with the device so far, the few calls I make and receive are clear and loud on both ends, the cameras suit me just fine although the pictures still can't touch the Pixel phones.
Alongside the 256gb of storage it has 8 gigs of RAM as well, which I feel is the sweet spot for phones right now. While having 12 and 16 are great, I don't think we're quite at the point where that will NEED to be standard in phones so I feel like 8 is perfectly fine with the system itself using about 2.5 to 3 gigs itself. I believe the phone has UFS 3.1 storage so transferring data to the phone is pretty fast. Two-hundred fifty-six gigs of internal storage is quite a bit to work with so you'll be able to carry quite a bit of data with you on the go. Plenty for music, documents, apps, and photos. Bear in mind though that if you're a person who pretty much lives/works off your phone that the lack of expandable storage may be a problem and in that case you may need to go for the larger Note 10 with 512gb of storage and comes with a slot that will support a 1 TB microSD card. I feel that would be best for those of you who carry and consume a lot of media, edit large video files on the phone or keep pretty much all your documents on your phone.
Other than that the Note 10 is really good option for people who want a smaller Note with pretty much an identical user experience as the larger one for a cheaper price, it's an even better value if you have have a good trade in phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate this phone. It is a piece of garbage. The keyboard types random words and NEVER corrects them. The talk to text is never ever ever correct. The camera, which I thought was a selling feature os the blurriest piece of garbage on a phone I've ever had and I've had Samsung's for as long as they've made them. There is NO STORAGE. After a couple months battery no longer keeps the same charge. NOTHING AND I REPEAT NOTHING IS AN IMPROVEMENT ON THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE. You want a photo well here's some. Good luck trying to figure out what it is. I have always been a loyal Samsung but as soon as i can get rid of this piece of garbage I will.
