A strange thing occurred with this speaker system. It was placed in a back bedroom. We weren't impressed with it. However when we left the room, the sound was better. So in essence, we discovered it is perfect where it is for background music if we are conversing in the living room. It doesn't compare to a full component stereo, but serves an important role in the house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It couldn't look better, but the sound is awful. It sounds very flat, and has no tone control that I can find. It'll do for the sale price, but it would have been sent back at full price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality not as expected

When I unpacked the speaker and set it on the counter, it was uneven and did not sit level on the counter. Tried it on several different surfaces, and the feet on the speaker are definitely uneven. Was not impressed with the quality of workmanship.
Set up was pretty straightforward. The speaker did not sound as good as my Apple HomePod, however, it was Almost half the price.
