This dock delivers enough power for our mobile workstations without the need for multiple power adapters or losing performance. We have been using the Dell TB16 dock, so a major plus to this is the dual connection instead of the all in one double USB C which seemed to have issues with disconnects. Having the power button on the dock is also a major plus! All in all this is a sound product!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best decision of my life. I am a loyal Dell customer from gaming laptop to Work Laptop. Now with the Dock I turned my work laptop into a productivity machine and have it connected to three monitors.
This is the dock to purchase. It gave me zero issues.

Not the docking station of old, but I ultimately got it to do what I needed. I worry about long term reliability of the dual USB-C connection to the laptop. Be aware that if you use the USB-C connection from the dock to a monitor, the HDMI output of the dock is disabled. This is a crappy feature. This forced me to purchase an additional device, a DisplayPort to HDMI converter dongle, to connect the dock to a 2nd monitor that used HDMI input. At the price Dell charges for this dock, they could have included the $2 worth or circuitry that the converter dongle uses, directly in the dock.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dual USB-C connector separates by design

I needed a dock that could work with both Latitude and Precision notebooks, for a shared workspace. The USB-C connector on this dock is dual connector to provide sufficient power for some Precision models. However, it is actually two connectors held together magnetically. When only a single connector is needed, like with a Latitude, just split them apart and plug one into the notebook. It is pricey, but it works great!

Good concept, but buggy performance

When my computer wakes from sleep, it often only detects one of my two external monitors and I have to disconnect the DP or HDMI from the dock and reconnect it. I've found that occasionally, it won't recognize my keyboard, either. I'm working on a Precision Mobile Workstation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
