Avoid at all cost!!!

This thing has almost zero exhaust power and fills up with grease despite the filters so rapidly. We have to wash our vents every time we cook steak and have to flip the breaker and degrease the entire hood once a month to keep it from stinking up the kitchen. It's not terribly quiet... if I could give zero stars I would. Getting to the internal fan where much of the grease sits is impossible without professional help. We cook maybe two to three times a week? Pasta, chicken breast, steak and veg. This came installed as a package with a Bosch gas stove. The entire vent hood will be ripped out and replaced next month. After 2 years, I've had it!!!

However, if very high-heat cooking or heavy smoke is part of your routine, you might consider a model with higher CFM or more speed options.
