Love my oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had our oven installed just in time for Thanksgiving dinner and all the baking/cooking for the Christmas holiday. I’ve been very pleased with the even cooking and how beautiful everything has come out... from turkey to pies, casseroles, cookies and bread. The buttons are super sensitive and I appreciate there is a lock button to avoid accidental selections. So far we are very pleased with this oven!

This oven is magical

Bosch Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has many features I love oven rack that slides out, clear oven door and good lighting, probe, many different baking choices. Seems to take longer to back item but I might just need to learn more. Baked muffins took 10 minutes longer and did not brown. I think I should have used the multi rack. Will try again. Overalll I love my new oven.

Blasts burning air and scalding steam in your face

Just got this model after owning previous Bosch 800 series. Oven cooks and bakes done, but when you open the door at higher temperature, it delivers a scalding blast of hot air to your face. This is made worse when cooking moist vegetables like French fries or sweet potatoes as the steam escapes and scalds you. I predict lawsuit or recall in a year. 'Why don't you just stand back?' Is a rational response. You'd have to duck to avoid being scalded and people using the oven, like Babysitters and houseguests may not know about how dangerous this oven is. Three different people in our household, all longtime cooks (youngest of us is 48) on MANY ovens have never experienced this. Again we had the previous Bosch 800 series wall oven and was not an issue.
