800 Bosch wall oven

Love my oven. Been in our house almost a year. my whole kitchen is Bosch. Very happy with what we picked out. We use the speed preheat all the time.

Second best appliance in my kitchen suite

This has been a pretty good oven overall. The oven came with a suite of Bosch appliances when we purchased our new house. We have had them for just over three years. The ovens temp probe is an awesome feature when it works. It is very temperamental and it only seems to work on occasion. We also liked the fact that we could connect to the internet and be able to preheat the oven when we are away in preparation for throwing dinner in when we get home. I just wish I could get it to work again. It won't allow me to connect to my network after around the first year and a half of ownership. Besides these issues the appliance has worked well. The price point for the Bosch appliances seems inflated for all of the issues we have had with this product and the rest of our appliances. The Bosch brand appliances have a good name, but if I had the money to replace them with a different brand I think I would.

Moist, if Efficient Roasting and Baking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved into a new house with the newly installed Bosch wall oven. It functions reasonably well and the control panel is inuitive to use, which helps a lot. However, everything I cook in it comes out more steamed than roasted or baked. I am greeted with a huge cloud of vapor whenever I open the oven and the vegetables I've been cooking are softer and moister than I would have wanted. I would likely not purchase this model of oven the next time I am in the market for an oven.

Terrible timer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not happy with the timer system on this model. First of all there are only two timers. One is for cooking (Oven Timer) which can't be used unless you are cooking something, as it is tied to the "cooking temperature". The other is a Kitchen Timer, which can be used for simply timing other things as you are cooking, say, on the stove. First, it is misleading to promote this unit as having "two timers", true but only one allows for use during anytime other than while cooking in the oven. Second, and this is a BIG SECOND, the Kitchen Timer only allows for the use of hours and minutes! What about seconds?! If I want to cook a sauce for exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds, I can no longer use my oven's kitchen timer, as I could with my DACOR. I have to have a separate timer which is much less convenient. I cannot understand how a high quality product like this could be put on the market with such a limited timer function.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Second Bosch Oven

Bosch Oven. We purchased all Bosch appliances when we remodeled our kitchen 12 years ago. We have been very satisfied with their performance over the years. We are slightly concerned with the high pitch sound that comes from the new oven. We both wear hearing aids now and it is somewhat disconcerning. Is there anything we can do to mitigate the fan noise?

Great Appliance, Makes Cooking Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this oven seven years ago for a new house and loved using it. After suffering through using a very cheap electric range for the last year in a rental house after our move, I couldn't wait to get another Bosch wall oven for my current house. I love the consistent temperature, the convection oven, the simple lines of the panel. It isn't cluttered with wifi recipes or unnecessary buttons. Would definitely buy again in heartbeat if needed.
