The Proform cardio HIIT pro trainer is gym quality equipment. All the moving parts are smooth and the controls are easy to use. My wife and I are in love with sugar sands of Clearwater Florida. I was able to program a map into the trainer of the beach. Now when there is snow on the ground in South Dakota, we can run along the beach and pass by Pier 60. Can't give any cons on this equipment, only pros. One thing that makes it so smooth, the big flywheel (I think it is close to 30lbs). Also I was able to put it together in a hour and the instructions were easy to read. This machine also has a small footprint so it can be used in any room. I have been a gym rat for a number of years, I have seen the good and the bad when it comes to gym equipment. This has the highest rating I have ever given to a product. Corey B. I actually love the machine - IF - it would work correctly. First the box it came in looked like it was really beat up in transport. Second something in side will start to vibrate and rattle quite loudly and this seems to happen at no rhyme or reason, but it feels like something is out of balance or loose and then it will just go away - but it is very annoying. I emailed for a service call on it 3 days ago but I have not heard back from anyone yet. I'm not sure if the transport damage caused the intermittent rattling. Again I love the design and function and would highly recommend if the rattling can be stopped.

I am 49 yrs old, use it 5 days a week, and got the iFit subscription, and it definitely works the whole body, plus with iFit; the Google maps & variety of workouts, and included workout music choices the workouts are much more interesting and even enjoyable. I can get an intense upper & lower body workout in very little time. You get your cardio, aerobic & strength training all in one. The 10 inch color touch screen is awesome, and the built in fan moves a lot of air. The stereo speakers can be very loud with good clear sound too. If they had a subwoofer they'd be perfect, but not bad for being so small. The machine has a very small footprint which is great for small spaces, but it is built very well. All the critical moving parts are heavy gauge steel, and nothing feels flimsy, wobbly or cheap. Assembly is straightforward and easy, and I did it by myself, but two people will make it a bit easier. Have had it for a month now, and I look forward to my workout every day. My fitness level has significantly increased (can go up stairs a lot easier for sure), and my joints don't suffer like on my treadmill as this is a low impact machine. I couldn't use my treadmill regularily anymore because of severe heel pain, and this machine doesn't caused those impact stresses. Overall, very happy, and look forward to many years of daily use. Worth every penny.

Assembly was fairly easy. Doesn't take up to much room in my spare bedroom/office. It's relatively quiet when I'm using it, not bouncing or squeaking. The workout it gives me is intense. Much better than any elliptical machine I've used in the gym before. It took me about a week to adjust to it and how it works, but now it's hard to start a day without it. I generally use it in the morning before work, for about 30 minutes or so. It really gives me a good intense cardio workout. The ifit coaching app keeps things interesting and offers all the stats you could ever want. I'm very happy with it and can't say enough about it.

Machine was boxed carefully so that it arrived without so much as a scratch. Assembly was easy but time consuming. It looks fantastic! Operation is very simple and I love all the options available for creating an exercise program. The touch screen is well placed and highly functional. I purchased the iFit membership and every day a new 'featured workout' becomes available. You 'run' at locations all over the world using Google Street View. There are plenty of manual programs available too, along with stock Street View workouts available at any time. The unit is build extremely well and is incredibly sturdy. It does not require much floor space either and is compact enough for me to fit in my bedroom so i can watch tv while working out. The heart rate monitor works well, especially in tandem with the iFit program which syncs with an Android or iOS app on your phone or iPad. That makes it very easy to create goals and a daily workout regimen to follow. I prefer to us my own sound system, but the built in system is adequate, not great, but everything you'd expect it to be. The only issues i've had with it are relatively minor thus far. First, the iPad/tablet holder "grabs" a hold of the tablet just fine, and it has the ability to pivot to adjust to your desired angle. Trouble is that hinge is not tight or robust enough, and the constant bouncing and movement of the unit causes the iPad to flop around and become unusable because you can't see it when it has flopped all the way down. Second issue happened during the course of a regular workout. One of the large bolts that holds the foot pedals to the unit sheered off! Not sure if i had tightened the bolt too much, but nevertheless it should have never sheered off. There are 4 total bolts per foot pedal, so i'm not concerned at all that anything further will develop - I'm just a little disappointed that this happened. Lastly, it squeaks! I haven't been able to find the source of the noise yet. Overall-an incredible unit!!
