Flintstones, meet the Flintstones...

This is a fun set. They really got it right except for one thing. Where is Dino? Anyone 7 and up can build it in no time. I hope to see more cartoon sets in the future. The Disney castle is amazing too, but we need more buildings and rides from Disneyworld to go with it
I love these so emblematic sets ! LEGO should really bring more TV and film classics to life. And to be honest, I was a bit emotional while building this set. The Flintstones series have been a major thing for me when I was young. Very cool minifigures ! My only negative critic for this set: Why, OH WHY, there is no Dino (pink dinosaur dog of the Flintstones) in this set ?!?!?!?!?!?! I just don't understand..........It would be like doing a Jetsons set without Rosie the robot maid......anyways, still a very cool set to buy, build and display :)
It's a great decision to release a Flintstones set, often overlooked as an olden days The Simpsons but it's genuinely still a great show in it's own right. So why mixed feelings? Well...the house isn't so great looking, it's really basic...but obviously the biggest problem with this set, is the lack of Dino. How on earth a Flintstones set could be released, without Dino, is beyond me. No Pebbles or Bam-Bam either. I could vaguely understand that, but no Dino is a horrible decision. I just hope this doesn't stop sales of this set.
If they added another set with a bowling alley, at least one "electronic" device, a bedrock sign with Dino and the kids, this could look a lot better. As it is, it's basically half a set and just looks incomplete. I'd still have to recommend it for Flintstones fans, but it is disappointing as it is. Please release a second set to finish the set properly!
The Flintstones were a huge part of my life so when I saw this set I knew I had to get it. Although the set is small in size, the car compliments the house and once fully built and complete, it really is a pretty nice set.
I saw this set come up for pre-sale and had to buy it for my husband! He absolutely loves the Flintstones and I always buy him a Lego set around Christmas and his birthday. I didn't tell him what the new set was and it arrived today and he is beyond excited! I can not wait to see if Lego expands on this collection.
Part of my excitement for this set is I love the Flintstones! But past that it's just a fun set that takes me way back to the stone age! The only things that will be disappointing will be if there aren't more sets. There has to be a Pebbles and Bam Bam and Dino, and on and on!
I couldn't resist this set, I was brought up on the the Flintstones so to get a Lego set is fantastic, the box alone is great, looks good and you can open it without damaging it, their are 6 numbered bags and the build is simple enough but fun, love the new colours brick separator as well. The finish is so nice it almost looks real I think thats thanks to Andrew Clarks use of the SNOT technique, no stickers in this pack just nicely printed tiles. the 4 mini figures all look good and Fred's car is fantastic really clever design especially the wheels it looks so good and runs smooth.
The Flintstones house although small has some nice details like the leopard print curtains, TV & lamp, the removable roof is clever and holds together well even at the angle its on, and the outside rocky detail is a nice touch.
All in all i'm really impressed with this set it just looks so good!
Love this set the Characters and the building and car is very nice. Does not take that long to build this set only takes about 6 hours or less to complete.
