A wonderful journey to memory lane

Delighted with this build, I have always been a big fan of the Flinstones. So when I saw this announced, I couldn’t wait to get it. The shop keeper told me I was one of the first persons to purchase it. The set has very clever and lovely details. I really loved the bowling set and the curtains. Well done, LegoIdeas designer!
I recommend this set to everybody who loves the Flinstones (and Lego of course).

This is a good set. The build of the Flintmobile is first and fun, highly detailed. Even the “ribs” are included from the end credits. The house is a fun build too, and the detail is very well done – just like I remember from the TV Show. The TV is well done and I like the touch of the picture tube at the back. The interior even has the tiger-skin drapes and the mastodon painting.
There are some downsides, however. No Pebbles or Bam-Bam, and Dino is shown only on the TV. Also, the Flintmobile does not allow the occupants to put their feet through (through the courtesy of Fred’s two feet). Also, Barney is too tall and teen legs could easily have been substituted. Also, for trivia fans, Wilma’s maiden name is not Slaghoopal. Her Mother’s name was that, but she remarried. When Wilma meets an old flame in “Fred Flintstone Woos Again” he refers to her as “Wilma Pebble”.
Nit-picking, yes.
I still endorse the set and encourage all who love The Flintstones and LEGO to get this set.

Brilliant detail, wonderful fun to build

A great idea and great build, as always with Lego the attention to detail is fantastic, Especially how they achieved a rocky look on the house itself, for any Flintstones lovers this is a must have, For any lovers of a really detailed build its a good value for money must have.
I highly recommend.

I love the Flintstones, and it's great to have them in Lego form, but I think they could have gone even farther and made a really great set.
- Where's Dino?
- Where's Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm?
- No Loyal Order of the Water Buffalo hats?
- With new bendable short legs, it seems they missed out by not giving these to Barney--he shouldn't be as close to as tall as Fred.

Awesome to see these characters, but they could have really gone into the finer details of the show.

I bought this set for my self and I love it. This set is great for display and for play. This includes the lovable characters from the show and they are awesome. The only thing that would make this better is if Dino, Pebbles and Bam Bam were included, however this is still a great set. Overall great value for the price.
