Works very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Unit works very well but after a week it Broke. The joint under the compressor has a crack.
The repairman initially sent out was a gorilla!!! and in the process of trouble shooting broke the Styrofoam vent channel !!!
The only reason This is getting 3 stars is the support I have received from customer service. The agent has been OUTSTANDING!!! and a new part has been shipped and arrived. Currently waiting for the scheduled repair date to see how this turns out!!!
If Frigidaire makes this right then the unit is worth 5 Stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased in the decision I made to replace my older model Sears Kenmore with the 25,000 BTU Frigidaire window unit. rather than waiting for estimates for a ductless unit. The new unit maintains the area well that it covers.

Quiet and COLD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our first Frigidaire about 8 years ago for a very large “man cave” room. Reviewer called this 25,000 BTU unit a snowball thrower. So we decided to purchase. It is very efficient, throws a lot of cold air and cools a large area, actually almost 3-4 rooms. It lasted 8 years and had to replace it. It would have lasted longer if we had taken better care. We installed an awning for weather protection after about 3-4 years, I highly recommend an awning to extend the unit life!!
