Very quiet, controls are confusing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quietest dishwasher we've ever owned. The only time I can tell it's running is when it discharges water. Not as enthusiastic about the controls however. They are cryptic and it can be hard to change cycles. You think you changed the cycle by holding the button down until it beeps but sometimes it defaults to the last choice. It's annoying. I'm ambivalent about the "3rd drawer" on the top. It's ok for large flat items like wire racks and cooking utensils but for actual flatware it's kind of a bust. The traditional utensil carrier works ok but it takes up valuable space inside the dishwasher - I was hoping to get away with just the top 3rd drawer for utensils. The machine with the zeolite dries very well and it washes exceptionally well. I knocked off a point for the goofy controls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine has been an excellent work horse being used up to five loads a day.
First to importance or priiority is the dishes are cleaned superb. The top "my way rack" allows for versatility as to what one can put on the rack. Be it large utensils, cooking utensils or small dishes, all fit. The middle rack is adjustble to accomadate large items on the bottom rack, or taller items in the middle rack.
The setting selections are more than sufficient as these seem to have beem thought out as to what will be going in a dishwasher. The cycle selected can be customized from a choice of options for a particuliar purpose of the wash.
The machine is very quiet One does not know it is in use except for the remaining time that is illuminated onto the floor.
The exterior appearance compliments all brands of appliances. The minimal handle accomodataes for a close walkpath as not to get a garment hooked on a handle bar.
Additionally, the cleaning tblets are dispensed to a soap compartment on middle rack, so the water will dissolve the tablet efficiently.

Very good purchase / highly recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best dishwasher I have owned. My kitchen is always a busy place. All sorts of odd cooking tools are used. By far the array of loading options the dishwasher has amazes me. The sound when its on is negligible, which is a must in an open concept kitchen family room.

Regret my purchase!

After reading lots of reviews and doing a lot of research I was very excited for this new dishwasher! However, after a few months I am thoroughly disappointed! First, I am not sure what size dishes this dishwasher was designed for, but it was not designed for mine! I have correll dishes. You want to wash a water bottle...good luck getting it to fit anywhere but on the bottom rack. Want to wash a utensil for pasta...good luck getting it to fit anywhere but laying it down on the middle rack. Want to wash plastic/glass storage containers, like Tupperware or Snapware, ugh! They do not fit well anywhere! I have tried adjusting the racks up and down. I have tried using the silverware baskets and the tray at the top. No matter what it is awkward and frustrating to load. Second, and more importantly, it does not clean very well! It says to scrape the food off, but to not rinse the dishes. We have tried this several times and every time there are one or two dishes that do not come clean and or the food has been relocated from one dish to another! So frustrating to have a top of the line dishwasher that does not get every dish clean! Lastly, I am really disappointed with how many spots are left on my silverware. Again, I have tried using the silverware tray and the basket. No matter what the silverware does not look clean and because they have been dried, you cannot just use a dry cloth to get the spots off. They have to be rewashed and in some cases the spots seem permanent. (My silverware is less than 6 months old!) I have tried using several different dishwashing soaps including the kind recommended by Bosch. I also use Jet Dry. I am so disappointed and wish I could return it!!!

So Far So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our 10 year-old KitchenAid bit the dust (motor), we did our research and eventually decided on this Bosch. Once we got used to the different control panel and cycles, and how to stack stuff on the different racks , we’re very pleased with the performance, quietness, and cleanliness of our dishes.
Now we’ll see how the dishwasher does long-term durability-wise...

Quiet and Spotless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love our new dishwasher which runs extremely quiet. It cleans well and with the CrystalDry technology, we don't have to worry about the top-rack only warnings. However, the technology means that the Auto cycle runs 2.5 hours which is really long. A lot of our plastics also stay somewhat wet while unloading.
