Great complex machine designed with simplicity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is solid and "glows" quality compared to other brands. The induction system works flawlessly. The lay-out for the "burners" is a little strange but when one is accustomed to it, makes perfect sense. Handy little things like up and down timers are simple touches that competitors don't have. The inside is beautiful and the racks are top quality. The top is clean and designed to never accumulate gunk anywhere. It's expensive but worth it.

A Great Stove (with one minor excetion)
on December 14, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I truly love this stove. Especially the "FlexInducxtion" feature where you can cook on one large, two smaller, three smaller or four smaller burners in the same area. My only minor complaint is that when something spills or you lay a metallic utensil on the top it can cause the surface mounted touch burner controls to start beeping. ALMOST FORGOT - it is one of the very few, if not only, slide-in stove to STILL have the glass top overhang which covers the gap between the stove and the cabinet.

WE purchased this range when they were first introduced back in 2017. It has been a up and down experience. Initially, the range top worked well but become irratic a lkittle before the warranty expired. by the time it eas clear that it was the range and not us, the waranty had expireed. I was able to work with Bosch and they did fix it as a warranty issue. It turned out to be a bad user control board. It has worked fine since. Where I fault Bosch is in quality control. the range arrived with missed aligned screws (marked with a sharpie) and the warming drawer was broken. I don't know why it was shipped this way. Bosch fixed everything so that is good. I hope Bosch has improved the initial quality (but they are not much different then appliances from other manufactueres we have purchased). My wife loves the range. Their hob placement could be better though. We almost never use the small hob and we use the large hob a lot, switching them would be better.

I love the Flex Induction feature, basically you can put a pot almost anywhere on the 4 hidden inductors. You can even straddle 2 at a time. The controls a bit less intuitive but it only takes about a day to get used to their factuality. I like how they are nice and clean on the top instead of knobs that get cruddy and break. It’s quite too, some inductions can be quite loud.
The large magnetic burner is kind of dead center towards the back which I also like because I have an over the range microwave and pots with a lot of steam work well the vents above in that location. Its better to me this way because when its all the way forward it gets steam all over the front of the microwave.
The vent is at the back and to be honest this is how most slide ins work. I have had others with the vent in the front but you always have hot air blowing on you with that configuration.
The oven is very nice, comes with one glide rack, and 2 regular ones. Heats up in about 10 minutes pretty fast and easy to use. I live that It has a low temp bread proofing feature.
The warming draw is probably the weakest link. Its very shallow and feels like its a bit on the flimsy side. I think most people use them for storage any ways but the last one I had was actually enameled in the bottom and actually a small second oven. This one is just raw stainless.
While this is on the pricy side, one of the few appliances I have bought in recent years that seemed to be worth the extra money. it's more beautiful and sleek in person.

Great range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very happy with with our new induction range. The hype is real! Fast and even heat, plenty of cooking area, and easy to clean.
Though, if I were to ask for anything different it would be that the flex area be wider to accommodate larger pans and flat top griddles. Also, the small burner is my least often used element. If that was oriented toward the middle rear it would feel far less neglected and more suitable as a utility element to warm a sauce or boil water. The largest element could be placed closer to the cook for easier access.

Overall very good except the interface

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how fast it heats up, that it's very easy to clean, and the overall design and functionality, I do wish that the lines indicating where the elements in the cooktop are were brighter (the gray lines on a black background can be hard to see especially through steam) because it's easy for pans to slide off of the active area while cooking. I also don't like how there is only one set of temperature control for all burners (you have to select a burner then change the temp). If you have multiple burners going this can get really confusing, especially if you have a situation like a pot boiling over and have to quickly change things. Temp settings below 3 seem basically useless they're so low -- I wish each burner had its own direct controls, maybe with only five or six levels, with the lowest being equivalent to the current setting 3. Also in that boil-over situation I've been unable to find the controls to turn it off because the boiled over food is covering the controls. I wish the controls were raised or recessed or had a lip around them. I like the visual look of the all glass top with touch screen controls but having used it it's not very practical. Finally, the kitchen and cook timer beeps are VERY quiet, easily missed if you're out of the room or if you have a range hood fan going.

Excellent overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we're very happy we went with the induction model. The burners are super efficient and the heat is easily controlled.it can be a bit difficult to see where to place the pans we wound up with silicone cover to protect the top. They should probably ship one with it. Oven is excellent as well very intuitive. My only quibble is the cooktop controls are difficult for me to read. The red color does not jump out at you and the text is small. it's a pain in the butt to get the reading glasses just to turn on the cooktop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The induction stove top has been amazing. You can boil water in seconds. The oven is spacious and easy to use.
