Update
on January 16, 2021

Well, I've had my range a little over a year so I wanted to give an update. I still love how it cooks and bakes, but I do have two negatives, and they are big ones. This range is a major hassle to get clean. The stainless always looks awful. And I mean awful. Then the Ceran cooktop is not what it should be. I had my old glass cooktop for probably 15 years. Not a mark on it. This one is just terrible. There are marks on it that WILL NOT come off in more than one place, not even sure what it is from, and it scratches horribly. I'm so careful with my cookware and it's scratched where cookware doesn't even sit. I honestly don't understand it. Nothing ever randomly sits on my cooktop either. I hate the top.

Great design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bosch is alway a consideration when I’m purchasing a new appliance. I’ve had reliable experiences in the past. I love the styling with the large oven window, easy to keep clean control panel, and the overlapping cooktop. The overlap was important to me as I was replacing a range with that feature. My granite countertops are not finished on the inside plus this keeps anything from falling between the range and cabinets. I love the glider rack and the lower warming drawer.

Beautiful, but Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For context, we're tall, older, two person household that prefers to cook at home rather than going out to restaurants. If you want this looking gorgeous, one needs to be a meticulous housekeeper-almost compulsive.... The stovetop requires cleaning (with close-inspection for "shadows") after every use. The oven (glass door, etc.) needs the same scrutiny. Sluggish heating on the stovetop coils, but once the pot does heat up-be ready to promptly adjust to a lower setting.otherwise there's a high risk of burning the food (my Le Creuset dutch oven). The knobs, while positioned in the front not to "catch", require serious bending down to read the numbers as does the cooking legends on the touch pad and LCD screen. Recommend buying an extra telescoping rack placing one in the 5 or 6 position (roasting) and the other in #3 rack position. Be sure to practice inserting AND removing the telescopic rack in the store model...it's a bit tricky. I wish the knobs were solid stainless and the external stainless steel marks easily. The warming drawer is odd...I can see my husband "kicking it" to open (which I'm also tempted to do). The instructions show the sweet spot required to open..if you don't do it just right, it'll never open.

Bosch HEIP055U Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about this slide-in is star of the art. It heats up fry pans and sauce pans quickly. The oven is accurate and produces top quality baked products every time we use it which is usually 4 to 5 times a week minimum.

Great range but needs a little tweaking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, it is a great range. The heating is even, love the additional settings (ex. pizza, etc.), and love the warming zone/drawer. Where the stove needs help is the screen, knobs, and warming drawer. Starting with the screen - it is slightly difficult to "lock the panel". The sensor under the screen doesn't easily read the finger pressure. I have older tablets that have better screen touch capabilities. Funny because if you slightly lean up against the screen - it beeps at you. Next is the knobs. Beautiful but spins way too easily and the setting seems a little off. The stovetop heats way too hot on lower settings. Also, wish they would not only have a screen lock but a "child lock" button that would override and prevent any heating from oven to stovetop. Finally, the warming drawer is very easy to pop open. I wish it would take a little bit more pressure to release. the drawer.

Nice!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, let me start by saying it took me three tries to get this stove. The first was hit in the back with a fork lift. The second looked like it had a bowling ball dropped on it and shattered the top. The third, after a very long 3 1/2 months came without problems two days before Thanksgiving. It's beautiful. On Thanksgiving I used the Roast Convection for the first time. I loved it. I've not had it for very long, but hope that as I use more of the features, I will continue to love it. I wanted this model for the extra large burner, and the soft close hinges, both of which do not disappoint. I almost gave up and got a different model, but I'm so glad that I didn't, and held out for this one. The knobs are nice and large, and the larger burner knob takes a little getting used to since it has 3 burner sizes on one knob. I've found the touchpad is a little sensitive. It can engage a button by brushing up against it, but you'll hear a little beep, and can clear it. I hate to admit it, but for my first meal on Thanksgiving, I boiled over some milk. I literally almost had a meltdown, because it not only burned onto the stove top, the milk went over the edge and down in between the oven glass. I wish someone could tell me how to clean in between the oven glass. I haven't found out how as of yet. My biggest complaint as with my other Bosch appliances is that I'm mystified as to why they do not have fingerprint resistant stainless steel. Come on Bosch. And just for user reference, for burned on food removal, sprinkle baking soda, spray with vinegar, and lay a warm Dawn soaked dish towel over the mess for 15 minutes. Works way better than the cleaners you have to buy. I didn't think I'd ever get my brand new two day old stove clean again after the milk fiasco, but it looks brand spanking new.
