No Kickplate?

The refrigerator is beautiful to look at, with the exception of near the floor. There isn't any type of kickplate, so the level supports on the bottom are exposed. I feel this takes away from the design of the appliance. It also seems to be very slow in making ice compared to a refrigerator I have in my primary home which is made by another manufacturer. For these reasons, I'm a bit disappointed with the refrigerator overall.

I have purchased other Fisher Paykel products before and there were issues then. I have to say there wasn't one in the showroom I was able to look at, but the installer recommended it for the space I had. Upon arrival I noticed there is no digital thermometer read out. There were only two drawers for fruit and vegetables. I had to purchase an extra drawer and digital thermometer. No one could tell me where the filter was located and much to my disappointment in is in the back of the refrigerator and it very inconvenient. On top of all this I was told by both retailers that I would get a rebate, that didn't happen either.

Fisher Paykel love story

My wife and I are extremely happy with our Fisher Paykel refrigerator. It is smaller than our old one but makes up for it with its design. The door alone holds a lot more smaller items which frees up the shelves for larger items and the lower freezer with ice maker and drawer help prevent lost food and “forgot to make ice again for the party”.
