I am a mosquito magnet. Like an open bar at a wedding. Like a free buffet. This is a great product, and I recommend THERMACELL to anyone, friends and strangers. IF I HAD to complain, it would be great if the pads lasted as long as the butane cartridge (I have to wait for it to cool to replace pad--and the mosquitoes know it. Buzz!) GET THIS PRODUCT--YOU CAN TRULY ENJOY THE OUTDOORS!

I live in Alaska and this product does not stand-out better than anything else.

I have been using Thermacell products since they came out. They really work here in Eastern NC where we have to build chain link fences to keep the mosquitoes out in the summer!

I'm still waiting for the peak mosquito season, but to date, I have been able to sit on my porch for periods when I would have gotten 5-6 bites.
