Easy as pie to set up! A little confusing to add the .local if using an iOS. But once I discovered it, it was simple. Wish there was a dedicated app for it, would take out the confusion. It packs a lot of features.

Orbi First Impressions

Easiest startup I've ever experienced and while there are still some concerns regarding the width of coverage, initial impressions are quite positive. I want to tweak it further then come back with the results.

Before the Orbi RBK50, I used the ASUS aimesh network. While my old network did its job, the Orbi was better in every way. I had to reduce the transmit power of the Orbi just so devices would switch over earlier.

WiFi finally works!

Before Orbi the WiFi in our house kept cutting out or worse yet....not working at all. I bit the bullet and bought the Orbi router and 2 satellites. What a difference! Now the WiFi reaches everywhere in our house!

Unbelievable difference in range. Had an AT&T tech here for something else the day I installed it and he could not believe the up/down speed at the farthest reaches of the house as well as outside. Highly recommend!

This router was the easiest to set up and works great. We use our internet for everything including tv, iPads and phones. Never had a slowdown or drop off. Would buy this over any other WiFi router in the market.

A Great Extender

This has done exactly what we wanted it to do. We had problems getting WiFi in our basement and upstairs, but now everything works great. I also love having a guest login that doesn't allow access to my computers.

There is an evolutionary step forward with Orbi compared to lesser Network extenders. A single network with a single network name. Go anywhere in the coverage area and stay connected. 5/5 rating. Worth every penny.
